Mikel
Watford Ladies FC medical team
Hi, I'm Mikel and I set up this studio to provide a private space for people to train in, whether that's because they feel self conscious about working out in front of others, or they simply want a place that's free of distractions, with nobody else to get in the way of their planned workout.
I'm a Personal Trainer, a Strength and Conditioning Coach, and an Athletics Coach, with a BSc in Sports and Exercise Sciences and an MSc in Sports Medicine and Exercise, as well as a bunch of other coaching related qualifications.
As a Personal Trainer, I work with a range of private clients, both at Your Gym London and at clients' homes. I've previously worked within both exclusive residential, and large commercial gym environments, so understand what it takes to get the best from a vast variety of different people. I have a particular interest in injury rehabilitation, where the knowledge gained through my Master's Degree in Sports Medicine helps me to get athletes and clients back to full fitness. Rest assured, I always maintain public liability insurance, so we're covered wherever the training session is located.
On the sports side of things, I coach a group of athletes at West London Track and Field. Based at Brunel University, there I have worked with athletes ranging from University level, right through to GB international level. I also have previous experience working as lead strength and conditioning coach at Watford Ladies FC and have conducted research with Basketball England, as well as training individual athletes from a variety of sports.
I enjoy training people, no matter what their level is. Teaching someone the basics and helping build their confidence in exercises can be just as rewarding as coaching an athlete to international success. I like to have some variety in my working life, so attempt to maintain a balance between work in performance sport, personal training, testing and injury rehabilitation.
Daniela Ramírez
Hi, I’m Daniela — a physiotherapist with 8 years of experience, passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free. My goal is simple: that every person who walks into my sessions leaves thinking, “This is exactly what I needed.”
I specialize in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy and hold a Master’s degree in Applied Biomechanics and Advanced Physiotherapy Techniques, as well as a Diploma in Applied Physiology in Sports.
Alongside my clinical expertise, I spent six years competing in triathlon and long-distance cycling, achieving podium finishes, including at the Ironman 70.3 relay. This athletic background gives me a deep, first-hand understanding of the importance of sports, recovery, and the resilience it takes to perform at your best.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients — from amputees and people recovering from spinal cord injuries, to new mothers rebuilding strength after pregnancy, recreational athletes preparing for events, and even Olympic teams at international competitions.
My approach is highly detailed and individualized. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel confident in your body.
