Why work with me

My degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences, my master's degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health, as well as my work within elite sport, have all helped me to develop the ways that I train clients. My aim is to support you and help you achieve your goals - figuring out the best way of achieving that is a challenge I enjoy. Your input is crucial, as you are the only one that can feel what is going on, so we'll work together to progress as quickly and safely, as possible.

FAQ

How often do I need to train with you each week?

The answer really depend on your goals, but to make improvements you typically need to train 2-3 times per week. Some people like to do all their sessions with me, whereas I help others come up with a plan to fit into their existing routine and support them with as many sessions as they require.

Do I need to get in shape before I start?

Absolutely not. This is about helping you improve and guiding you through the process, no matter what your starting point is. There is no judgement, we train in complete privacy, and everything can be adapted to suit your fitness level - the aim is to find the appropriate stimulus to get an adaptation and build your confidence, not to make it so difficult that you can't do it.

Can you work around my injury or medical condition?

Whilst this will obviously vary depending on the issue, the general answer is yes. I have a master's degree in sports medicine, so I understand the body, and can adapt sessions to make them appropriate for the vast majority of conditions. If in doubt, speak to a doctor before starting, or reach out to me and we can talk about it before you make any commitment.
